Tattoo Shops In The Philippines

Instagram is a cool photo-sharing app that we use to share our photos online. And it is a good thing that it had a good positive impact on tattooing. Whether you are a tattoo collector, or you just like art, it's hard to keep up to date with the work done by the World's best tattoo artists. Most tattoo artists' websites are out of date and Facebook made it a lot easier for tattoo artists to update their portfolio without getting a help from website developers - though it is not being used with any great consistency as a resource. Instagram, however, has encouraged tattoo artists to share their portfolio on a daily basis - which is great for us, the tattoo enthusiasts.

What's more is that it is the access to tattoo artists' process of tattooing — from sketch, to stencil, up until completion. It’s not just about high-resolution photos of the finished product anymore!

Below is a list, of some of the best tattoo artists that you should be following on Instagram.

NOTE: Of course there are many great other tattoo artists on Instagram in each of these styles, but this list is mainly focused on tattoo artists who primarily shoot their work and stuff related to their art.

Joel Rocafort is a popular tattoo artist and is known for his on the spot cover up tattoos. He's the main man of Mafioso Ink. He has won 2x in Dutdutan's cover up category contests and a few portraits and tattoo of the year awards. He has been in the business for years and is indeed one of the best. Last weekend, he inked my wife (cover up) and the outcome was superb. I will post pics after the break. For the meantime, check some of his awesome works!

Chris Garcia is a World renowned tattoo artist. He is a proud Pinoy tattoo artist who has inked lots of celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray, Brandon Vera, as well as all the members of Boys Like Girls. He also inked Jamir, Raimund Marasigan, Karl Roy & Don Allado. I hope he visits any of the tattoo shops in the philippines someday.

I must say that Emao Clemen was born with a charcoal in his hand. He used to be an illustrator and started his tattoo career when asked by a friend if he could tattoo him. He used a home-made rotary machine and next is history. He never expected to become a pro tattoo artist, destiny seemed to have had other plans. He's now working for P&P Tattoo (one of the best tattoo shops in the Philippines) but prior to joining this team, he had worked for  Rellik and Darkside.

Celebrities such as Ryan, Gabby Eigenmann, Gab Valenciano, and Bubbles Paraiso, are some of  his clients.

I had a free tattoo from him for winning P&P Tattoo's Instagram Promo! He he has exceeded my expectations for the tattoo looks real! For sure i will get another tattoo from him very soon!
